In this role, you will be a trusted point of contact for donors and an important member of the Development and Philanthropy team. You will help ensure donations are processed accurately, donor records are maintained carefully, enquiries are handled professionally and supporters receive timely and meaningful acknowledgement.

About The Role

Reporting to the Donor Relations Manager, you will coordinate day-to-day donor administration, including gift processing, receipting, donor enquiries, CRM record maintenance and financial reconciliation.

Working closely with colleagues across Development and Philanthropy, Finance and other areas of the Institute, you will support fundraising campaigns, donor stewardship activities, events and reporting requirements.

This role suits someone who combines strong administration and systems capability with genuine care for the supporter experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with fundraising campaigns, appeals, events and communications.
  • Prepare routine reports and information to support fundraising activities.
  • Maintain appropriate records and handle sensitive donor information securely.
  • Identify opportunities to improve donor administration and team processes.
  • Contribute to a responsive, accurate and donor-focused service culture.

About You

You are a highly organised administrator who takes pride in accurate work and excellent service. You are comfortable working with databases and financial information, can manage competing priorities, and communicate confidently with a wide range of people.

You will bring:

  • Relevant experience in donor administration, fundraising operations, customer service, finance administration or a comparable environment.
  • Strong database or CRM skills, with the ability to maintain accurate and detailed records.
  • Experience processing financial transactions, undertaking reconciliations or working with financial data.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accurate, high-quality work.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A professional and thoughtful approach to donor and stakeholder enquiries.
  • Sound judgement when handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • The ability to organise your work, meet deadlines and manage competing priorities.
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to continuous improvement.

Experience with Raiser’s Edge NXT, donor management systems or fundraising administration would be highly regarded.
