We’re excited to offer an opportunity for a People Support Officer to join our People Team (Support Services) based in Parkville.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, people-focused environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality administrative and customer support across the employee and student lifecycle.
About the Role
Reporting to the People Advisor, the People Support Officer provides critical administrative and operational support to the People Team.
You will be a first point of contact for people-related enquiries, ensuring a positive experience for employees, students, and managers while supporting a range of HR processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding for employees and students
- Maintain accurate People records across the full lifecycle
- Process employee variations and updates
- Monitor and respond to enquiries in the People inbox
- Provide general administrative support to the People Team
- Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive and high-performing team culture
About You
You are organised, detail-oriented, and customer-focused, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
You will bring:
- Strong administrative experience, ideally within HR or a similar function
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to accuracy and detail
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- A professional, approachable, and responsive style
Desirable:
- Experience with HR systems
- Understanding of HR processes and the employee lifecycle
